About Hillbrook School:

Hillbrook is a junior kindergarten-11th grade school located in Los Gatos and downtown San José, CA. Since our founding in 1935, Hillbrook has provided an extraordinary educational experience where students develop a true love of learning; through our engaging, challenging, and dynamic academic programs, students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to achieve their highest potential in school and life. At Hillbrook, students are known, respected, and valued as individuals.

On our 14-acre Marchmont campus, every corner is alive with activity: two bridges connect the Lower & Middle School, a creek weaves through campus (you’ll often find our science students there), and towering trees provide a refuge for class discussions outdoors. At our downtown San José campus, the city itself is often our classroom as our high school students become a connected part of a growing, thriving downtown community.

Through our partnership with the Scott Center for Social Entrepreneurship, students learn the value of social impact and discover their own agency as changemakers at every age through two key questions: What matters to you? What are you doing about it?
