Small class sizes offer abundant opportunities for students to ask questions, interact more closely with teachers, and receive the attention they need and deserve. Nurturing community welcomes families and encourages parent involvement, enabling students to be known by their peers, their teachers, and their community. Passionate educators and a dynamic learning environment instill a zeal for learning while providing the necessary skills for a lifetime of academic and personal success. Critical thinking skills, complex problem-solving, and ethical decision-making are emphasized in every class. Numerous leadership and public speaking opportunities at every grade level inspire students to be leaders inside and outside the classroom. Robust social-emotional learning program teaches conflict resolution, strengthens communication skills, and highlights Jewish values. Following Common Core Standards, our mathematics program places a premium on mathematical understanding. Next Generation Science Standards focus on scientific process and a critical understanding of scientific inquiry. State-of-the-art makerspace inspires children to tackle problems with their hands, unlocking new passions and creativity. Foreign language learning opportunities in Hebrew TK-8 and Spanish 6-8. Art and music education fosters imagination and creative expression. Local, national, and international study trips take learning out into the world. Technology integrated throughout the curriculum and 1:1 laptop computer program in grades 6-8. Team sports include cross-country, flag football, girls volleyball, basketball, soccer, tennis, and golf. Students across grade levels regularly meet in smaller Chavurah (family) groups to work together on school-wide projects, creating role models for younger students, and leadership opportunities for older ones. No-cost before-school care and flexible after-school daycare on contract or drop-in basis.
