The Treasure Island Sailing Center’s (TISC) Junior Sailing Program is designed to enable young sailors to move at their own pace as they progress from novice to advanced sailors in a variety of sailboats. We offer a wide range of Summer, Fall, and Spring class options, including a Science and Sailing class!

TISC’s progressive curriculum is designed to give all of our sailors a developmentally appropriate understanding of sailing fundamentals, water safety, and responsibility. In addition to teaching students to sail, they will gain confidence, emotional maturity, and independence.

TISC’s Junior Sailing Program encourages the development of teamwork, respect, leadership and communication. Our Junior Sailing classes are taught by certified instructors and professional coaches who use a blend of on-shore and on-the-water activities to create an environment that is safe, educational, and fun
